About Pickleball Drop-ins

Pickleball Drop-in Sessions

Each 'open play' group drop-in session is limited to a maximum of 5 players per court(if allocated 2 courts) or 6 players (if allocated 1 court).
There may be more than 1 drop-in session scheduled at the same time on certain days/times.

Some drop-in sessions require the participant to have a certain rating level.
Ratings are just an estimate of a player's doubles playing level.
If you have been assigned a rating, do not change it.
If you do not have a rating or you have questions about your rating, please speak to the pro-shop.

Please sign up only to a level you are capable of playing at.

You may pre-register for ONLY one session per day, however, if you are present when another session has already started and that session is not full, then you may ask to be included in that session as well.

Be prepared to play with any/all players in your session.
Also if you choose to play in a session where the rating requirement is lower than your rating we expect you to play with everyone else in that group and possibly 'play to their level' if necessary.

If you are very particular about exactly what other players you play with/against, we recommend that you instead book your own court and invite only those that you want.

If you have made a reservation to play a particular group session, you will have up to 2 hours before the start time to cancel your reservation (if you decide not to show up), if not, we will expect you to arrive NO LATER than 1 hour after the group start time. We will impose a $5 charge to those who violate this policy.

If the drop-in session is a "ladder format", the first part of the session will be a ladder format which will then be followed by Open Play.
Note, the ladder will start promptly at 3:00 pm so try to arrive 15 minutes early, DO NOT BE LATE, we will start with or without you.

Rules for all drop-in sessions:

Check-in at the pro-shop and pay before you play.
If your name is not on the list for a particular drop-in session you should not be on the courts at that time.
For 'open play' drop-in sessions:
     - No singles play if the courts are full and there are players waiting.
     - Play 1 game (up to 11) or 15 minutes (if not playing a game) and then let others on the court.
Lastly, follow instructions from pro-shop staff.
