ClearOne Unisex Doubles Badminton Competition
Date: Saturday September 26th, 2020
Time: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Estimated, depends on the number of entries)
Competition Format:
Each doubles team will be placed into a group for pool play to determine the placement for the elimination round.
After the pool play, depending on the number of entries, teams who have the top 25% point difference (amount all teams, not only in your group) will be placed into the Elite Elimination Round Bracket.
Next 25% of the teams will be placed into Advanced Elimination Round Bracket.
Next 25% of the teams will be placed into Gold Elimination Round Bracket.
The remaining teams will be placed into Silver Elimination Round Bracket.
The exact number of teams in each bracket will be determined after the registration deadline and will be announced before the start of the tournament.
Scoring:
Pool Play - Round Robin format will be used. 1 Game to 31 Points, change ends when first team reach 16, win by one.
Elimination Round - Best 2 of 3 Games, to 21 points, when 20-20 (20 all) win by 2 up to 30 (when 29-29, win by 1).
If third game is necessary, change ends when first team reach 11.
Tie Breaks (in Pool Play):
The following will be used to determine ranking after the Pool Play-

Shuttlecocks:
Participating Athletes supply the shuttlecocks.
Tournament Approved Shuttles:
Yonex AS30 or higher (AS40 or AS50)
RSL Ultimate
Youhe S100
*Note: RSL Ultimate and Youhe S100 can be purchased in the pro-shop.
Tournament Entry Fee:
$15 per player ($30 per team)
All entries must be paid by Thursday September 24th.

Regulations:
Players must sign the player waiver upon before allow to compete.
Tournament Results will be used to determine/adjust players ratings (used in certain drop-in sessions)
*Note: Masks are required when not on the courts.
